The UNCF is inviting applicants for their wonderful Black Educators Scholarship 2020. The UNCF Black Educators Scholarship program is a need-based competitive scholarship program for candidates with good academic standards to be currently enrolled and verified as a junior or senior. Fellows should demonstrate a financial need.
The aim of this program is to support the deserving candidates in completing their education. The foundation is keen on helping the students in their academic journey with different scholarships. These scholarships are designed to provide needed financial help to the students who actually deserve it. The foundation aims to contribute towards the development of the nation with the help of education.
UNCF is the nation’s largest and most effective minority education organization. The mission of UNCF envisions a country where all Americans have equal access to a college education that prepares them for rich intellectual lives, competitive and fulfilling careers, engaged citizenship, and service to the nation. UNCF North State is to increase the total annual number of African American college graduates by focusing on activities that ensure more students are college-ready enroll in college and persist to graduation.

Who May Be Eligible?

- The fellow should possess a minimum, cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Candidate must be currently enrolled and verified as a junior or senior.
- Applicants must be a full-time student attending a UNCF member college or university or other accredited four-year HBCU.
- Applicants should be United States citizens or Permanent residents.
How to Apply
Only eligible candidates should apply for the scholarship through an online application form. Fellows should the first login on the official portal using their credentials. If you do not have an account, you can first register. Everything should be provided as per the application. Any late or incomplete application will be rejected by the foundation. Other supporting materials should be provided through the same application before the deadline.

Selected students will receive up to $2500 award based on need. The scholarships awards are renewable for one more year based on the availability of funds and the students meeting the eligibility criteria.
