It’s important to note that employees of The Umansky Law Firm and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. Candidates should maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher and be in good academic standing.

Scholarship Details

The 2023 Second Chance Foundation Scholarship awards $1,000 directly to the chosen student. To be considered, applicants must submit the following:

  1. A 750-1000 word essay responding to the prompt: “Share a hardship you have overcome and what a second chance means to you.”
  2. A resumé or LinkedIn profile detailing both professional and academic experiences.
  3. A transcript from their current school. High school students must also include proof of acceptance to their college or university.
