Tuskegee University awards scholarships to students based on merit. The renewal of these scholarships also depends on the student’s abilities and merits earned during the term spent at the university. The university provides numerous scholarships, each of which has different eligibility criteria. However, the basic requirement for eligibility for these scholarships is that the student must enrol at Tuskegee University.

Benefits
The university awards scholarships competitively. Eligible students are selected based on merit. Here are a few of the scholarships
- Distinguished Presidential – Full Tuition, Room/board, fees and $800 book stipend for freshmen. The student requires a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.7 and must manage a minimum GPA of 3.25 (or 30 credits) at the university to renew that scholarship annually.
- University Merit – Full tuition and $800 book stipend for freshmen and transfer students. The student requires a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5 and must manage a minimum GPA of 3.00 (or 30 credits) at the university to renew that scholarship annually.
- University Achievement – $10,000 for freshmen. Students require an unweighted GPA of 3.3 for eligibility and must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 for annual renewal of the scholarship.

An applications deadline for both admission and application of scholarship for the fall term is May 1, 2021.
