The Intertribal Timber Council is happily offering its worthyTruman D. Picard Scholarship. Candidates who are willing to pursue their higher education in natural resources can apply to this scholarship. This scholarship provides sufficient funds for the students to complete their education without any worries. The award amount varies depending on the education level.

The Truman D. Picard Scholarship is dedicated to the support of Native American students pursuing higher education in Natural resources. The program aims to provide considerable financial support to the students in completing their research and education without worrying about finances. The council is highly motivated towards supporting students and helping them pursue their higher education without stress. The eligibility requirements for scholarships have been kept simple so that number of students can apply.

The Intertribal Timber Council Convene an Annual Timber Symposium to explore problems and solutions to current issues confronting Indian natural resource management. Each year a different tribe hosts the symposium. Participants experience first-hand the host tribe’s approach to resolving problems and issues by viewing their operations and sharing perspectives with other resource management professionals. ITC offers training sessions to Indian resource managers and tribal officials on various topics. The Award annually Truman D. Picard Scholarships to outstanding students studying natural resources, and the Earle R. Wilcox Memorial Awards for excellence in Indian natural resource management.
