The Tribal Workers Charitable Foundation is inviting candidates to apply for their wonderful Academic Scholarship. Applicants must be a Member of any tribes; Tribes Rosebud Sioux Tribe; Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe; Lower Brule Sioux Tribe; Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate, or; Standing Rock Sioux Tribe or a student at Oglala Lakota College to be eligible for the scholarship. Fellows must be scheduled to graduate in the Spring or Summer of 2021 with an Associates or Bachelor’s degree from a post-secondary institution.

How to Apply
The application process for the scholarships is extremely straightforward. Fellows should download the application and collected all the needed documents to apply for the program. All the required information and the documents requested below must be sent electronically or by fax to kellyinsurance@midconetwork.com, FAX (701) 323-7816 before the deadline. Any late submission will not be considered for the award.
Supporting Documents
- Attach proof of Tribal membership/enrollment, a letter from your academic advisor or registrar stating when you are scheduled to graduate, a transcript, or a letter from the school’s registrar with your grade point average.
- Submit a one-page essay, including the degree you are pursuing and your plans to use that degree. Please also include at least one photograph of yourself.
Benefits
The foundation this year has planned to award $3,000 each to 10 applicants. This amount should be used to pay for the winners’ educational needs, like room, books, and other needs. These scholarships motivate students to do better in their careers and reduce some financial stress from them with funds. Students are motivated to benefit their tribes with their education.

The last date for submissions is November 30, 2020. The foundation will not accept late or incomplete applications. Please submit all the materials with concern.
