The Tri-County Opportunities Council was established in 1965 by a group of interested citizens from Lee, Ogle, and Whiteside Counties to support these areas to achieve impeccable growth. Since its foundation has come up with great solutions that can serve the purpose of development for the residents, the council has great answers. There are various initiatives taken and still being practiced to help the people with their needs. The goal of the council is to vanish the poverty from the county.

The council will award twelve (12) scholarships of up to $1,250 each to the students selected. The award should only be used to pay the students’ expenses like fees, tuition, and other required costs. These scholarships will encourage the students to achieve their career goals overcoming the stress. The awards encourage students to contribute towards their counties growth.
The due date to submit the application with all the requirements is March 26, 2021. No late or incomplete submissions will be accepted.
