Grab a chance to put your creative ideas through a Travel story and win various awards. The World Nomads is considering applications from any nationality for its Travel Writing scholarship program.
The students who are non-professional writers but are passionate about travelling will surely acquire the awards and also get a chance to explore other beautiful destinations.
World Nomads was founded in 2002 working as a team of global citizens, customer advocates and creative storytellers. They have been protecting, connecting and inspiring independent and passionate travellers to explore the world.

Who May Eligible
Interested applicants must review the given criteria to apply:
- Applicants who are students and non-professional writers may apply
- Professional writers are not applicable for the scholarship
- Individuals from any nationality can apply
- Must have exceptional written English skills.
How to Apply
Candidates who are eager to apply for the scholarship can fill out their required details through an online application form.
Supporting Documents:
- Must submit an essay of 700-word travel story with a theme ‘A leap into the unknown’,
‘Making a local connection’ or ‘I didn’t expect to find’. - Must provide some personal details to contact.
Benefits
The three aspiring travel writers will receive the following awards:
- They will win a 14-day travel writing trip to the Caribbean starting November 29
- The winners will attend a four-day workshop led by The New York Times and Outside magazine contributor Tim Neville.
- The scholarships will be covering airfare to Panama with an all-expenses-paid trip to a specific part of the Caribbean, accommodations, visa costs and travel insurance.
- Each writer will also receive US$500 worth of Toad&Co.travel apparel and a portfolio review from Norie Quintos
