Tozer Foundation $2750 Scholarship Program

Tozer Foundation Scholarship Program helps secondary school seniors or secondary school graduates or current postsecondary students who are inhabitants of Kanabec, Pine or Washington districts in Minnesota, AND secondary school seniors or secondary school graduates or current postsecondary students who went to secondary school in Kanabec, Pine or Washington provinces in Minnesota and who intend to proceed with their education in college or professional school programs. The grants are offered every year for full-time learning at a certified organization of the understudy’s decision in the United States. The program is regulated by Scholarship America in partnership with the Tozer Foundation.

The purpose of the grant is to help candidates who fall in the above-mentioned categories with their education by offering them financial funds to offset their tuition costs. The grant measures of up to $2,750 will be allowed. Grants might be renewed at a similar sum for up to three extra years or until a four-year certification is procured, whichever happens first. Renewal is dependent upon keeping a total grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the same). Grants are for undergraduate students only and might be utilized to pay for instruction-related costs strictly.

The Tozer Foundation was founded under the Last Will and Testament of the late David Tozer who was a lumberman in Stillwater, Minnesota. He harvested his lumber in the St. Croix Valley. Mr. Tozer directed wanted to establish a charitable corporation to support, charitable purposes. That is why he directed in his will that a charitable foundation must be formed for charitable purposes.

Who is Eligible?

The eligibility criteria for the following scholarship are as follows:

  • Be a high school senior or high school graduate enrolling in post-secondary school for the first time, or a current post-secondary undergraduate who graduated high school within the past 4 years and has at least 36 credit hours completed;
  • Plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical school in the United States for the entire 2022-23 academic year; and
  • All students who live in Pine, Kennebec, and Washington counties are eligible AND All students who attend a school located in Pine, Kennebec, and Washington counties are eligible to apply.
  • Applicants must meet the Tozer Foundation’s Financial parameters as given on the official portal of scholarship. (EFC = Expected Family Contribution is the dollar amount result from applying to the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)).

How to Apply?

The qualified applicants are expected to complete the application form and attach all the below-mentioned documents along with it. to access the application form, the candidates first will have to log in to the official website of Scholarship America. If you don’t have an account already, so first create one and then proceed.

Supporting Documents

Following are the documents that need to be attached with your application form:

  1. A current, complete transcript of grades.
  2. High school seniors and high school graduates enrolling for the first time must submit high school transcripts.
  3. College students currently in their second year or above, with at least 36 credit hours completed, must submit college transcripts.
  4. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grades, and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.
  5. SAT and/or ACT scores are optional and may be provided at the student’s discretion.
  6. Complete Student Aid Report (SAR). SAR must be from your most recent FAFSA filing and include the applicant’s first and last name, academic year, and the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) amount.
  7. Two (2) Applicant Appraisal Forms (click here to download).
  8. High School Seniors Only: Print a High School Counselor Evaluation and Academic Information Form, provide to a guidance counselor to complete and upload completed form.
  9. Ready To Be Applicants Only: Upload a letter of recommendation from the Ready To Be Program Coordinator.


The award amounts up to $2,750 will be granted. Scholarships may be renewed at the same amount for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is gained, whichever occurs first. Renewal will be based on maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent). Awards are for undergraduate study only and may be used to pay for education-related expenses.

Application Deadline

Please forward your application to the organization by February 21, 2022, to consider. Late applications will not be considered and will lead to disqualification from the program. So hurry up and submit your entry before the program closes.
