Harvard University

Harvard is the United States’ oldest institution of higher learning, and its history, influence, and wealth have made it one of the world’s most prestigious universities.  It provides outstanding clinical training in both internal medicine and pediatrics: MassGeneral Internal Medicine Residency, MassGeneral Hospital for Children Pediatric Residency. The Harvard MGH Medicine-Pediatrics Program began in 1989 as the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Med-Peds Residency.

Perelman School of Medicine

Founded in 1765, the Perelman School of Medicine is the oldest medical school in the United States. The Department of Pediatrics is fully committed to its training programs.  It offers a 4-year integrated Pediatrics/Genetics program (in conjunction with the Department of Genetics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine) leading to board eligibility in both disciplines. The Department of Pediatrics at CHOP and the Department of Medicine at HUP jointly sponsor the Med/Peds program. The Division of Neurology offers a three-year residency in Pediatric Child Neurology.
