Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health was founded in 1916 by William H. Welch and John D. Rockefeller. The Master of Public Health program at the JHBS offers students full time (11 months), part-time and online (2-3 years) options for earning an MPH degree. The UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health is an American university program offering undergraduate and graduate education in various fields of public health and allied sectors. The Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health MPH is a school-wide degree emphasizing active, student-directed learning, and the acquisition of skills essential to the practice of public health. The University of Michigan School of Public Health began its pursuit of a healthier world in 1941. It is pursuing a healthier, more equitable world through education, research, and action. The M.P.H. in G.E. is earned in either 60- or 42-credit hours, depending on previous training and degrees.
