HCF Scholarship

Hawaii Community Foundation (HCF) is pleased to announce the HCF Scholarship. The program is open to students who attend an accredited two or four year, not for profit institution within the United States as either an undergraduate or graduate students who have maintained a minimum 2.7 GPA. HCF Scholarship funds offer varying award amounts, which generally range from $1,000 to several thousand dollars. The average award for students is approximately $2,500.

Fukunaga Scholarship Foundation (FSF)

Fukunaga Scholarship Foundation (FSF) is encouraging Hawaii’s young people by offering four-year college scholarships to pursue an undergraduate degree. The program is open to high school students in the State of Hawaii who intend to have a career in Business to pursue higher education at any an accredited four-year college or university. Four-year scholarships will be awarded to students who just entering college in increments of $5,000 annually (a total of $20,000 will be awarded over four years).

Pauahi Foundation Scholarship

The Pauahi Foundation is pleased to offer their scholarship opportunities that are supporting college level areas of study, as well as trade and vocational courses. Scholarships are available to the general public, including graduates of Kamehameha Schools.  Students are also encouraged to apply for educational financial assistance from the state, federal, and private funds and contribute to their own earnings.  A majority of scholarships are not restricted to Hawai`i residents. However, there are some scholarships that do require applicants to be Hawai`i residents or require you to attend a college/university in Hawai`i.  Foundation awards are subject to availability of funds.

University of Hawai‘i Board of Regents Presidential Scholarship

The University of Hawaiʻi is glad to announce the University of Hawai‘i Board of Regents Presidential Scholarship. The program will be awarded to approximately 8 bona fide Hawai‘i resident college juniors who have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.7. Presidential Scholars receive a full-time, 12 credit per semester tuition waiver for two years of undergraduate study.  All scholars receive $4,000 a year (stipend) and a one-time travel grant of $2,000.

West O‘ahu offers a variety of scholarship opportunities that can help fund your education. There a number of scholarships available to both freshmen and transfer students. Scholarships are usually awarded on the basis of merit, academic performance, and/or financial need.

The 2018 Teendrive365 Video Challenge

Discovery Communications, LLC is now sponsoring the TeenDrive365 Video Challenge 2018. The contest is open to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States, Hawaii, Alaska and the District of Columbia (“U.S.”) who are at least thirteen (13) years of age and are students enrolled in 9th through 12th grade at a public, private, parochial, or home school located in the U.S., at the time of entry. Create a 30-60 second video for your fellow teen drivers that highlight the importance of safe teen driving and you could win $15,000, or one of 14 other prizes!

At the University of Hawaiʻi Hilo, their available scholarships give you the chance to share your story of how you are inspired by the ‘Āina, Discovery, Innovation, and Each Other, and the opportunity to earn scholarships ranging from $500 to $10,000. Multiple finalists in each category of inspiration will receive a one-time $500 award, and one finalist from each category will be selected for a $2,500 award, renewable for four years (total value $10,000)

Mānoa Academic Merit Scholarship

The Mānoa Academic Merit Scholarship is an automatic $2,000 scholarship (per year) for four years of undergraduate study. This scholarship is open to first-time, degree-seeking students who enroll the semester after high school graduation and who are enrolled in a full-time course load of UH Mānoa credits.

The Hawai‘i Lodging & Tourism Association is pleased to offer the Hawai’i Women in Lodging & Tourism Scholarship. The program is designed to promote hospitality, tourism and culinary arts as a career and profession in Hawai`i. The program is open to students who are currently attending an accredited college or university and maintain a minimum 3.0 grade on a 4.0 scale. One Scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00 will be awarded annually.
