Dance Discovery Foundations Scholarship Programs

Dance Discovery Foundation’s three (3) Scholarship Awards are granted to gifted students who are studying at a dance or performing arts schools, companies, studios, universities and institutions throughout our Southern California community. The scholarships awarded may be granted annually and in the amount of $500 US and up to $2,000 US per student as determined by DDF in its sole discretion.

Performing Arts Scholarship

All Saints’ College is well known for its exceptional programs in Dance and Drama, and the College is pleased to offer Performing Arts Scholarship 2019. The scholarship is for the duration of the student’s attendance at the College and is conditional upon ongoing excellence in, and commitment to the All Saints’ College Performing Arts program. The Princess Dance Grace Awards

The Princess Dance Grace Awards is now available to a promising student for tuition toward professional training at a non-profit school with dance as a focused discipline located in the United States. Students enrolled in dance education or graduate programs are not eligible for scholarships. The next available grant period will be September 1, 2018 – August 31, 2019. Applications will be available in January 2018.

Monthly American Harlequin Scholarship Video Contest

Harlequin Floors’ Annual Dance Scholarship program has provided support, encouragement and better opportunities for dancers. Each month in 2017, four winners who submit dance videos on TheWorldDances.com will win $250 each to put toward their dance dreams. Each and every month of 2017, a separate monthly video contest will be conducted which ends on the last business weekday of each month at 11:00 a.m. (Eastern time zone), with the next month’s contest starting immediately thereafter at 11:01 a.m. on that same day.

Career Transition for Dancers

Career Transition for Dancers enables dancers to define their career possibilities and develop the skills necessary to excel in a variety of disciplines outside of dance. The program is open to those who are currently enrolled in a competitive dance/training/education program and intend to derive income as a professional dancer. Dancers are also eligible to receive individual and group counseling services, referrals for healthcare and health insurance and, where eligible, access to emergency financial assistance.
