Army Scholarship Foundation Scholarships

The Army Scholarship Foundation awards one-year financial scholarships (not grants or loans) on an annual basis to qualified and deserving students. The amount of award ranges from $500 to $2000 for undergraduate studies at accredited educational/technical institutions. Scholarships are open to sons, daughters, or spouses of regular active duty, active duty Reserve, or active duty National Guard U.S. Army members in good standing.Applicant must be a high school senior, high school graduate, or registered undergraduate student.

ROTC Scholarships

The AFCEA Educational Foundation offers ROTC scholarships ranging from $2,000-$3,000 each are awarded to an Army, Navy (including Marine Corps option) or Air Force ROTC fulltime sophomore or junior students with at least an overall 3.0 GPA. The scholarship is open to Army, Navy (including Marine Corps option) and Air Force ROTC full-time sophomore and junior students with at least an overall 3.0 GPA.

Designee National Scholarships

ROTC is a competitive college program. The 4-Year and 3-Year Advanced Designee National Scholarships are awarded to High School Seniors who demonstrate superior attributes in the following three categories scholar, leader, athlete. These scholarships are awarded by a National Board that meets three times throughout the year.

High School Army ROTC Scholarship

There are two types of high school scholarships: 4-year and 3-year Advanced Designee. This scholarship is awarded to high school seniors who will soon graduate.  Scholarships pay full tuition and mandatory fees, for both resident and non-resident students. Minority Serving Institution (MSI) Scholarship Program

The Minority Serving Institution Scholarship Reservation (MSISR) is available to all students, regardless of race, who wish to attend Norfolk State University or Hampton University. This scholarship will pay for tuition, $375 per semester toward books, and a $250 – $400 dollar per month stipend for up to four years of academic study. (Increases by $50 each year)

The Army Women’s Foundation Legacy Scholarship Program provides grants to women soldiers, past and present, and their lineal descendants to help them attain their educational goals.The scholarship is open to women who have served or are serving honorably in the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve, Army National Guard or the child of a woman who served honorably in the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard. Applicant must a current community college or certificate student with at least a 2.5 GPA or a current undergraduate or graduate student with at least a 3.0 GPA.

The Green to Gold program provides selected active duty enlisted members of the Army an opportunity to complete their baccalaureate degree requirements and obtain a commission through participation in the ROTC program. Navy ROTC Nursing Degree Programs

The Navy has many opportunities for young men and women interested in careers in nursing and healthcare. NROTC Nurse Program participants receive the following benefits: All tuition costs, Textbook voucher of $250 per semester or $167 per quarter, Lab fees, and subsistence allowance: Starts at $250 per month freshman year, Increases to $300, $350, and $400 at the start of sophomore, junior, and senior years respectively.
