2. Ph.D. Scholarship

A qualified applicant is identified, and varied amounts of scholarships are provided year after year. Normally a Ph.D. Scholarship recipients would be selected from a whole lot of aspiring candidates and awarded the amount of $4000.

3. The Nursing Foundation of Pennsylvania Nurse Leader Scholarship

Scholarships are provided to students who exhibit leadership qualities during the chasing of their dream to complete the nursing education and to earn a nursing degree through the Nursing Foundation of Pennsylvania Future Nurse Leader Scholarship. 4. The Nurses for Tomorrow Grant Program

The nursing schools in southeastern Pennsylvania receive grants from The Nurses for Tomorrow. It is intended to help undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral nursing students with scholarship funding in supporting their educational expenses. It is the Academic Institutes that have to apply for the grant according to the eligibility requirements. In the past, the Foundation has a bright history of awarding almost $13 million to 26 nursing schools that have in turn provided scholarships for 3000 nursing students. 5. The Alumni Association Scholarship Fund of the Former Albert Einstein Medical Center

Nursing students who are competent, faithful, and thoughtful personalities and are completely dedicated to the nursing profession are continued to be supported by the scholarship fund shaped by Albert Einstein Medical Center School of Nursing, Philadelphia’s Alumni Association. Every year one scholarship is provided to a capable aspirant in every degree level. The students who are badly in need of a scholarship to continue their nursing education are considered the most. 6. Kass Endowed Scholarship: Gerontology Nurse Practitioner Program

The Foundation, which is an association of the Presbyterian Foundation for Philadelphia and New Courtland Elder Services, which is a network of Philadelphia nursing homes, housing, and programs for weak elders throughout Philadelphia, has now announced a $1 million endowed scholarship to Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (GNP) master’s program at Penn’s School of Nursing. The Kass Scholarship goes with the prevalent gerontological nursing student funding prearranged to Penn. It provides full tuition to appropriate New Courtland network employees, their children, or grandchildren who are let into the program. The fresh or recent University of Pennsylvania students pursuing a degree in gerontological nursing are considered for the scholarship in the absence of students who are the children or grandchildren of the employees. 7. Penn Nursing Scholarship Program – Penn Medicine/Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia 

The scholarship is served aside for MSN and Post Master’s DNP Programs. The Pittsburgh Foundation had established the Sister Mary Daniel Ruffing Nursing Scholarship to help graduate and undergraduate students who are enrolled in a professional nursing program in Western Pennsylvania. The award is an average one and is obtained once a year. They have to be residing in Western Pennsylvania and studying for a degree related to nursing. 9. The Jack E. Barger, Sr. Memorial Nursing Scholarship

The nursing scholarship fund is categorized into the military memorial group as it had been started off in order to honor Sr. Department Commander at the VFW State Convention who passed while in the office. 10. The promise of Nursing Faculty Fellowships 

The nursing faculty fellowships by the Foundation are available on a rolling basis. ​The nurses who are registered and are enrolled into their ​ graduate level in a degree yielding college or university in the chosen regions of the US are eligible to apply for the Promise of Nursing Regional Faculty Fellowship (PON Fellowship). The PON Fellowship is deliberated to assist the Registered Nurses preparing for the role of a nurse educator. The fellowships are awarded every year and contribute to the tuition, academic fees, and books. The funding is supported by numerous hospitals, health care agencies, Johnson & Johnson, and other national companies, all for supporting the education in nursing. 

The fundraising is mediated by Johnson & Johnson and is administered through the Foundation of the National Student Nurses Association (FNSNA). The students who need to be eligible have to be a registered nurse holding a baccalaureate degree in nursing, a US citizen or a foreigner with U.S. Permanent Resident Status, enrolled and matriculated in a state-approved graduate school in one of the Promises of Nursing regions, must be academically strong and stable and should be able to ascertain the need for financial requirement.
