The foundation sponsoring the scholarship has a history of long years. Since it was founded, it has been supporting several students and institutions with scholarships and grants in the amount of $891,543.20. Students who have been majoring in aviation, aerospace sciences, biology, chemistry, engineering, medicine, and nursing has been considered. Presently, the foundation is aiming at promoting and supporting young men and women to effectively continue their post-secondary education for aeronautics or scientific careers. The application is limited to those students living in a Lenawee County (Michigan) School District and graduating from a Lenawee County (Michigan) High School. They should be planning the studies in aeronautics or other related sciences with grades that are permissible for a college entrance.

2. Austin Alliance for Women in Media Scholarship
The juniors, sophomores, and seniors pursuing their studies in the field of media or related subjects in a university in the Austin Area are considered for the scholarships by AWM Austin. Those students who are attending other colleges but graduated from a high school in Austin and those maintaining a permanent address in Austin are also eligible. The applicants should have completed more than 60 hours of college coursework by the month of December and should possess a GPA of 3.25 or more. The student should also be a full-time majoring individual in radio, television, film, digital media, public relations, advertising, marketing, communications, journalism, or broadcasting.

3. ‘Celebrate The West’ High School Art Competition
The much-known regional art competition for challenging the high school students is provided by The Western Governors’ Association. The education assistance program is open to the freshly appearing high school juniors who are successful in their academics and are planning to continue their education in sectors related to the energy industry. 6. Hellenic Professional Society of Texas
The Hellenic Professional Society has been awarding scholarships to students who have qualified for their under graduation. The students who are presently in college or university in Texas with outstanding performance academically in the specific field of study and are of Hellenic heritage are eligible for the scholarship. Those students who are of non-Greek lineage also get the chance to apply for the same, provided they should be strong in their academics which are related to Greek letters or affairs. The applicants must be high school seniors with an ACT score of 27 or SAT of 1800 and a GPA of 3.5.

8. Air Force ROTC Scholarships – High School Students
High school students are bestowed with diverse kinds of scholarships by the Air Force ROTC. The types vary in amount and other specifications. Type 1 can be considered as the ultimate, as it covers the complete college tuition and the authorized fees at any institution (be it public or private) with an Air Force ROTC objectivity. The selected individuals also get the chance to win the opportunity to receive the monthly living expense stipend and an annual book stipend.
Type 2 pays the amount of up to $18,000 every year in college tuition and other fees. They also receive the bonus of a monthly living expense stipend and an annual book stipend. Type 7 also helps pay the complete fee for college tuition and the authorized fees at a public institution with an Air Force ROTC detachment. They also receive the chance of receiving a monthly living expense stipend and an annual book stipend. 10. Apprentice Ecologist Initiative
The Apprentice Ecologist Initiative is one that is working towards the betterment of the ecosystem and also has several projects to inculcate the feeling in the young minds to conserve and protect nature. The program has been well-known and laureates several times for the initiatives they are up to. The fresh Apprentice Ecologist Projects and the older Apprentice Ecologist Awards are motivations to move in the direction of environmental protection.
The current program is intended to improve the youth towards the development of leadership qualities by engaging them in activities to clean up the environment and be part of several conservation projects. It also makes the young generation be aware of the importance of the program in order to restructure the environment in order to maintain the well-being of the community. The awards are presented as scholarships to three individual authors who come up with the best essays based on the relevant topic. They should belong to the age group of 13 and 21. The essays need to be worded between 750 and 1500.
