1. Air Force ROTC Scholarships 

The Air Force ROTC Scholarships are offered to graduating high school students, and there are a series of eligibility criterias one must strictly follow before obtaining this scholarship. Applicants must either be a United States citizen or obtain United States citizenship by the last day of the first term of their freshman year (for four-year offers) or the first term of sophomore year (for three-year offers), they must qualify a Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board (DODMERB) medical exam, posses SAT composite of 1240 or ACT composite of 26 and a cumulative GPA of 3.0. After winning the scholarship, you must be willing to get enrolled in the academic major for which the scholarship is offered, and also must be ready to enrol in Air Force ROTC beginning with the upcoming fall term. 2. American Patriot Scholarship

The American Patriot Scholarship is offered by MOAA to help children of uniformed services personnel-officers and enlisted- who died while in active service as a member of the Regular, Guard or Reserve Forces. There’s no long list of criteria to fulfil except that you must be an undergraduate enrolled in a two or 4-year program in any college or university across the United States.

Students are eligible to receive the American Patriot Scholarship for up to five years of undergraduate study, but they must be under the age of 24 at the time of application. The maximum age for students who are serving or have served in the Armed Forces before completing college will be increased by the number of years served, for up to five years of service or 29 years of age. Every year, applications open in November and end on March 1.

3. Pat Tillman Foundation Military Scholars Program

Pat Tillman Foundation Scholarships are for Veteran and active-duty military service members from all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, including the National Guard, who has served in both pre-and-post-9/11 eras. Scholarships are offered to both undergraduates and graduates who demonstrate strong academic goals, extraordinary leadership potential and a deep desire to create positive change.

Current Spouses of veteran or active service members, including surviving spouses, are also eligible for this scholarship. Please note that only full-time students currently pursuing their higher education in U.S.-based, accredited institutions are eligible for this scholarship.

4. AFAS General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant Program

The General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant program, also known as the Hap Arnold Grant, is offered to eligible Air Force and Space Force dependents each year. The grant amount ranges from $500 to $4,000and is competitive in its need-based selection criteria and is uniquely tailored to recognize the proper weighing of family income and education costs. 5. AFCEA War Veterans Scholarship

A scholarship offered specifically to personnel on active duty in the uniformed military services and honourably discharged U.S. military veterans (including Reservists and National Guard personnel), AFCEA War Veterans Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship that is offered to students currently enrolled and attending classes in an undergraduate program part-time or full time in an eligible STEM major degree program at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S.

To obtain this scholarship, you must be majoring in the following C4I-related fields related to the mission of AFCEA: Biometry/Biometrics, Computer Engineering, Computer Forensics Science, Computer Programming, Computer Science, Computer Systems, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Geospatial Science and many others you need to find out from the scholarship website. 6. Green to Gold Scholarship 

A scholarship offered by the honourable U.S. Army, the Green to Gold Scholarship, is restricted to Active-Duty Military personnel who are currently pursuing or are about to pursue their college degrees and have 2 or 3 years remaining to complete their degrees. To obtain this scholarship, you must be under 31 years of age, have acquired or pursued a bachelor’s degree, must have served a minimum of two-years Active Duty as well as three months of Active Duty for every one month of specialized training, have a GT score of 110 or greater, maintain a cumulative High School or College GPA of 2.5, and must be high school graduate or equivalent.

7. Navy Wives Clubs of America Dependent Spouse Scholarship

Now comes a scholarship that will benefit the dependent spouse of active-duty personnel, the Navy Wives Clubs of America Dependent Spouse Scholarship aims to financially support college education, vocational business or other training. Dependent wives of the Navy, Marine Corps or Coast Guard, active duty, retired, widow or widower, are eligible to obtain this scholarship. To obtain this scholarship, you must be verified as a qualified dependent, submit a copy of the military ID card and attach a copy of your previous years year’s federal tax return with the application. The Imagine America Military Award Program (MAP) was established in the year of 2004 to financially support military service members receiving career education and making the transition from military to civilian life. AMVETS is an organization for American Veterans that offers scholarships to veterans/active military, their sons, daughters or grandchildren. 10. Sport Clips Help a Hero Scholarship

The VFW’sVFW’s Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship is aimed to provide support to service members and veterans who are in need of financial assistance to complete their educational goals without incurring excessive student loan debt.

The scholarship amount is $5,000 and will be awarded to qualified applicants who are retired, honourably discharged, active duty, or a member of the National Guard or Reserve, citizens of the United States, have completed Basic Training and follow-on training (Advanced Individual Training, technical school, etc.), are separated with or currently hold a military rank of E-5 or below.
