Applicants should be classified as a college undergraduate junior, senior, freshman, a sophomore enrolled fulltime at any accredited United States 2 years community college or four years institution to be eligible. Fellows should GPA of 2.5 on a scale of 4.0 and must demonstrate financial need.
The Pierre and Tana Matisse Foundation is pleasingly offering financial support to the students to free them from financial worries. The Foundation understands the financial difficulties of the students, which makes it impossible for them to complete their higher education and for making it possible mainly for people of colour these scholarships have been designed. The Foundation wants to help the students take their careers to the next levels through such programs.

Who May Be Eligible
Go through the requirements mentioned below before applying for the scholarship:
- Fellows should be Latinx, Black or Indigenous United States Citizen residing in or a permanent resident of any of the five boroughs of New York City to be eligible.
- Applicants should be classified as a college undergraduate junior, senior, freshman, a sophomore enrolled fulltime at any accredited United States 2 years community college or four years institution to be eligible.
- Students should GPA of 2.5 on a scale of 4.0 and must demonstrate financial need.
How to Apply
Eligible and interested candidates should apply for the scholarship by submitting the online application form. Please create an account if you do not have one or log in using your credentials. Complete the application with malum the requirements and materials without any negligence. Please make sure you submit your applications prior to the deadline, as late applications will not be accepted by the Foundation. Maintain the authenticity of the data you are submitting.
- Transcript, one-page essay, one letter of recommendation and materials to verify your community. The essay should be reflecting your future goals other volunteering activities and more.
The Foundation will select 100+ students to and offer them the amount up to $5000. This amount should only be used to pay the educational needs of the candidates like tuition, fees, or other related requirements. These scholarships encourage students to be the best by maintaining their good academic standing by working hard. These programs help students and empower them to help their community with their education.
