The Cyrus Artisan Rugs Scholarship Grant

Cyrus Artisan Rugs is offering The Cyrus Artisan Rugs Scholarship grant to an incoming and current student of interior design or related courses.

The program wants to supports freshmen and current interior design students to pursue their passion for beautifying the spaces people live and work.

Cyrus Artisan Rugs is the largest online retailer of handmade designer rugs and Oriental carpets, featuring exclusive collections of traditional and tribal area rugs from internationally recognized designers and manufacturers.

Who May Eligible

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Aspirants must be a US citizen.
  • Candidates must be currently enrolled or about to enter, in interior design or similar course OR must be a high school graduate planning to study interior design or a related course in a college or university during the spring of 2020.
  • Students must be in good academic standing with his/her current educational institution.
  • Participants under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

How to Apply

  • To participate in this program applicant need to submit an original essay in a minimum of 500 words, ideally in PDF format on the given topic:
    • The applicants need to discuss why they should receive the Cyrus Artisan Rugs Scholarship grant.
  • Applicants must submit the following via email:
    • Name, contact details, and address.
    • Name and address of institution currently enrolled in or plan to attend.
    • School I.D. and a government-issued I.D. (i.e. driver’s license)
    • Curriculum vitae
  • The applicants must send the above details at Allison@cyrusrugs.com. 

Benefits

Winner will be awarded $500 to help them complete their interior design education.
