The Curt Greene Memorial Scholarships for High School Seniors

If you have a passion for harness racing and have a financial need, then this is something you probably might looking for. The Harness Horse Youth Foundation is excitingly welcoming candidates to apply for their extraordinary the Curt Greene Memorial Scholarship. Fellows should be at least a high school senior and must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher to be eligible. Applicants must be (planning to) enrolled as a full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours) to be considered.

The Harness Horse Youth Foundation has initiated this Curt Greene Memorial Scholarship in the memory of Curt Greene. He served in many capacities in the Standardbred industry after working his way through school. This scholarship is designed to reduce the financial burden of the students who share the same vision and passion of Curt Greene. The program is initiated to empower the deserving students and help them with their education. The application process is kept simple so that multiple students can compete for it.

The Harness Horse Youth Foundation is representing the passionate and dedicated racing enthusiasts with all the possible efforts. The HHYF was established in 1976 to enable young people to learn more about harness racing. The Harness Horse Youth Foundation is a charitable organization offering all the horse riders from different places a platform to learn and enhance their riding skills. The Foundation creates different programs, especially for the horse riding enthusiast.

How to Apply

Eligible and interested students should download the application and complete it with all the essential information. Incomplete or invalid data submitted will not be accepted by the Foundation. Fellows should submit every necessary document without any negligence to be eligible. Do not submit late applications as those applications will not be entertained.   • Copy of most recent transcript, two letters of reference, and the list of your achievements with the application are mandatory.

Benefits

Selected students will receive the award of $2500 annually. The funds must be used to pay the educational needs of the students. This scholarship motivates students to do better in their academics as well as horse riding careers. This scholarship encourages candidates to achieve their goals and help the community with their education.
