The City College of New York is offering various scholarships to incoming freshmen who are willing to pursue their higher education at CCNY. CCNY has to offer a wide range of scholarships varying from Departmental Scholarships to Fellowship Programs. Students who wish to apply to the Macaulay Honors Program at CCNY will not receive other campus-based scholarships. The City College is gladly inviting applicants to apply to their college so that they can avail of the CCNY scholarships.

The scholarships are provided to students to engage in their educational ventures without any barrier and stress. CCNY scholarships encourage students to explore their capabilities and achieve success in their life. Established in 1847, City College is said to be one of the first free public institutions of higher education in the United States. The varsity teams compete in NCAA Division III and are well known for their athletic endeavours. To be considered for the scholarships at City College, candidates must first create an account to access the General online application. Logging into the scholarship application with the username and password, candidates can access their application at any time.

Supporting Documents

Required documents that are asked for during admissions are the only documents to be included for consideration apart from the letter of recommendation.


The college offers various scholarships to students ranging from departmental scholarships to fellowship programs.
