Merrol Hyde Magnet School (MHMS) is a K-12 school adhering to the Paideia ideology in Hendersonville, Tennessee, and administered by the Board of Education of Sumner County. It is Sumner County’s only magnet school. MHMS was built on the former Knox Doss Middle School campus, next to Hendersonville Medical Center, in 2003 Through the Paideia philosophy, Merrol Hyde is committed to helping its students develop. In Miami, Florida, the School for Advanced Studies (SAS) is a dual-enrollment high school accredited by SACS. SAS is a public high school in Miami-Dade County, located on four campuses of Miami Dade College. As part of a desegregation court order, the School for the Talented and Gifted was established in 1982 and originally located at the L.G Pinkston High School campus in West Dallas.
