Dan Whitworth Memorial Scholarship

The Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF) sponsors the Scholarship to encourage high school seniors or current college students to earn degrees in sports management, kinesiology, exercise science, athletic training, physical education, or related recreation fields. Larry McEachron Memorial Scholarship

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation (TPWF) will provide the “Larry McEachron Memorial Scholarship” for Texas residents pursuing bachelors, masters, or Ph.D. degrees in fields relevant to natural and cultural resource conservation. W. Price Jr. Memorial Scholarship

The W. Price Jr. Memorial Scholarship presents from the Texas Restaurant Association (TRA) to high school seniors beginning post-secondary pursuits in culinary arts. Interested candidates must be committed to the foodservice industry, reside legally in Texas, be accepted at approved U.S. institutes, sustain a minimum 2.75-grade point average, register for 12+ credits per semester, and have restaurant experience. This scholarship will give $2,000 annually to the winning candidates.

Texas Armed Services Scholarship

St. David’s Neal Kocurek Scholarships

St. David’s Foundation established the Neal Kocurek Scholarships to graduating high school seniors from Texas’ Travis, Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, and Williamson counties who are entering accredited four-year colleges for healthcare training. Pursuing professions like a nurse, dentist, optometrist, physician’s assistant, radiology technician, dental assistant, or biomedical engineer are required. The scholarship will provide the $7,500 to the winning candidates.

State Fair of Texas Youth Scholarship Program

The State Fair of Texas Youth Scholarship Program has awarded scholarships to more than 2,000 students.
