The FCCLA is offering Texas FCCLA scholarships which consist of a number of scholarships for the students who are high school graduates and are legal permanent residents of Texas, US. Texas Association Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America every year offers several scholarships to members in support of their goal to obtain a college education. Scholarship applicants applying for scholarships through Texas FCCLA must meet both the standard requirements set for all FCCLA scholarships, as well as the requirements specific to the scholarship in which the member applies.
There are approx. 9 scholarships are given to the high school graduates to choose from. The students are advised to go through all the application guidelines and eligibility criteria for the same on the official scholarship portal and select the best suitable option for them. These scholarships can be a great chance for you to get the financial support you require to continue with your college education. All scholarship applications must be submitted online by 11:59 p.m. CST on March 1, 2022.
No exceptions will be made. NOTE: When applying for multiple scholarships with the universal application, you are only required to complete the application once. However, a copy must be uploaded with each scholarship link that requires the universal application.
FCCLA is the only career and technical in-school student organization with the family as the central focus. Participation in state and national programs and chapter activities helps members become strong leaders in family, careers, and communities. With FCCLA, youth learn how to make a difference in their families, communities, and future careers. Members learn important life skills such as leadership, planning, goal setting, problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal communication!

Who is Eligible?
Following are the eligibility requirements for the following scholarship contest:
- Be a resident of the state of Texas
- Be a 2022 graduate of a Texas high school
- Have an overall high school grade average of 85
- Have been an active member of an affiliated chapter of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America for at least one year.
- Have completed one or more years of Family and Consumer Sciences in high school
- Meet entrance requirements of Texas college or university which offers a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences
- Enroll in a Texas accredited college with a Family and Consumer Sciences department in Fall 2022
- MAJOR IN ANY AREA OF FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCES

Following are the benefits that will be received by the final recipients of the following scholarships:

One $1,500 scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding member of the Texas Association Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America.
- Blue Bell Creameries
Three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to outstanding members of the Texas Association Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America.
- CJ Davidson
Texas FCCLA awards ten scholarships to outstanding members planning to attend a four-year Texas school and major in any area of Family and Consumer Sciences. The scholarship is for $2,250 per semester and will be continued for eight semesters (4 years- $18,000) if the recipient continues to be qualified under the rules regulated by the scholarship.
- CJ Davidson College
Texas FCCLA is awarding one scholarship to a current university student majoring in Family and Consumer Sciences Education in a Texas college or university.
The scholarship is $2,250 per semester for up to 6 semesters (3 years, $13,500) if the recipient continues to be qualified under the rules governing the scholarship.
- Cookwell& Company
One $1,500 scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding member of the Texas Association Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America.
- CTAT
Career & Technical Association of Texas
CTAT-Myra Hasty Award
Career & Technical Association of Texas will provide one scholarship for $1,000 to an outstanding member of Texas Association Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America over 2 semesters.
- FCCLA Regional
Scholarships will be awarded annually for the amount of $1,000 over 2 semesters. Students must major in Family and Consumer Sciences at a four-year Texas college or university.
- HEB
Ten $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to outstanding members of the Texas Association Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America.
- Texas Farm Bureau
One $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding state or region officer of the Texas Association Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America.
