Tennessee Tech University is pleased to make available wonderful scholarship programmes in the field of physics. These scholarships are reserved for those students who are wishing to enrol in an undergraduate degree programme in physics at Tennessee Tech University. Current students can also qualify for these programmes. Award amount and eligibility requirements vary from one scholarship to another.
The university is providing up to four wonderful scholarships for physics majors. These funds will not only encourage students to earn higher education in physics but also open the doors of many opportunities throughout their learning journey. The university understands that enrolling in a course in this field at a leading institution might be difficult for those students who lack financial resources. That is why it wants to help such students through these exciting scholarship opportunities. On the other hand, these programmes will increase the participation of bright students in the field of physics that will result in the maximum numbers of larders in this field.
Formed in 1915, Tennessee Tech University is an open institution also known as Tennessee Tech. In its earlier days, it worked as a private polytechnic institute, and in 1965; it received its university status and was renamed as Tennessee Technological University. It operates nine educational schools and colleges which offer around 200 academic programmes in various fields including engineering, business, fine arts, and nursing. It is home to around 10,000 students who are from different parts of the world representing their culture and background. To make its students’ journey fun and comfortable, it provides a variety of facilities from the library to sports spaces.

How to Apply
To participate in these programmes, recipients will need to take admission as freshmen students in fall 2021 at Tennessee Tech University. After that, selected students will need to fill out a scholarship application and submit it with one or more letters of reference. - Algood and Elizabeth Carlen Scholarships – $2500
- Paul Austin Scholarship – $2500
- Frederick L. Culp Scholarship – $1000 to $2000
- Krishna Kumar Scholarship – $750
