Technology First would like to accept applications from tech lovers like you for its outstanding scholarship program open for 2021 entries. This scholarship is awarded annually to one or more worthy candidates who demonstrate a passion for technology and are a critical thinker and problem solver. So far, Technology First has awarded over $80,000 in scholarship to help students make their dream come true. Applicants must be enrolled as undergraduate students at their respective college or university in the United States. They must be pursuing a degree with a concentration in the information technology field. Furthermore, they must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a minimum major GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale at the date of submission.

Today’s businesses are dependent on technology to get success and drive growth, profitability and productivity. Technology has turned impossible things into possible and made it easier for us to do daily tasks. It has revalorized our world as well as in everyday lives. It has made our life better, more comfortable and fun. To advance technology at a significant level, we need more leaders who can make this happen. To support in cultivating the new generation of tech leaders, Technology First has brought this program into the highlights. This scholarship will help the students who are studying technology and give their dreams new wings by easing up their financial burden.
Technology First is an industry-led, industry-driven trade association developing the Dayton and southwest Ohio region into the best-connected information technology community. Its member companies include those which provide IT solutions, products and services as well as those enabled by technology.

Who May Be Eligible
Applications will be accepted from those who meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must have at least sophomore standing (30 semester hours ) at his/her respective university or college and currently be enrolled as an undergraduate student as defined by the applicant’s institution.
- Candidates must be able to prove that his/her major’s relation to the information technology field. Approved majors include but are not limited to the following: computer systems, computer science, computer information systems, management information systems, and industrial/computer engineering.
- Aspirants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a minimum major GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale at the date of submission.
- Recipients must have a strong interest in pursuing an IT career in Southwest Ohio.
- Applicants must be a permanent resident of or attend a North Central accredited degree-granting college or university within the Southwest Ohio region, including Adams, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Greene, Hamilton, Logan, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Shelby and Warren counties.
- Candidates must have a graduation date after August 2021.
