Teaching and Learning SOTL Faculty Fellowship

The Office of Teaching and Learning at the University of Denver is very proud to be hosting a Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Faculty Fellowship for the academic year 2022-2023.

In this fellowship programme, a small set of faculty members are selected each year as ‘SoTL Faculty Fellows will get training, attend workshops and participate in the interactive programmes designed to increase engagement with SoTL. It is an example of reflective practice in higher education.

It was founded in 1864 and is the oldest independent private university in the Rocky Mountain Region of the United States. DU is ranked 93rd among National Universities. The University of Denver will be a great private university dedicated to the public good. It aims to promote learning by engaging with students in advancing scholarly inquiry, cultivating critical and creative thought, and generating knowledge.

Who is Eligible?

  • The applicants must be faculty members at the Office of Teaching and Learning at the University of Denver.

How to Apply?

The applicants must first apply online for a faculty position at the Office of Teaching and Learning at the University of Denver.

The applicants may be required to have a relevant master’s or PhD degree qualification.

A resume and cover letter will also be necessary to apply.

The applicants accepted as faculty members will be considered for the SoTL Faculty Fellowship.

Benefits

The selected applicants, i.e. the existing faculty members of the OTL at the University of Denver, will be provided training and a chance to attend workshops and participate in interactive programmes for increased engagement in SoTL. They will be guided through the process of completing their SoTL Project and receive insightful feedback. 

Application Deadline

The application process for the SoTL Faculty Fellowship was announced in June 2022. The applications are due for submission by July 2022, the outcome will be disclosed, and selected participants will be notified in August 2022.
