Taste of Buffalo Hospitality Scholarship for College Students

The Taste of Buffalo is proud to offer this Scholarship to hardworking students and encourage them to do better in their careers. Taste of Buffalo Scholarship program is for college-bound students in the eight counties of Western New York who will chase a degree in the Food Service or Hospitality industries. Those candidates who are engrossed in hospitality are wholeheartedly welcome. Applicants should be residents of Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus or Allegany counties in New York State.

The Taste of Buffalo’s scholarship program will try every possible effort to give the best education for the students. This scholarship will be given to deserving students who can’t afford education and want to pursue their career goals. The Taste of Buffalo’s scholarship program acknowledges students’ strain and wants to solve it as soon as possible.

In 1984 Taste of Buffalo started with a shoestring budget, but its mission was to promote all local restaurants, bring people, and provide a fun family event. In 35 Tastes since then, the event has grown and flourished thanks to supporting the community and thousands of volunteers and supporting so many generous sponsors. The Taste is committed to sustaining an affordable family event.

Who May Be Eligible

Here are the requirements you have to stand on to be accepted for this Scholarship

  • Applicants should be residents of Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus or Allegany counties in New York State.
  • Candidates must be college-bound students in the eight counties of Western New York who will pursue a Food Service or Hospitality industries.

Any late or incomplete scholarship forms will not be considered for the scholarship program. The deadline must be followed strictly.

Supporting Documents 

  • Letters of Recommendation: Individuals must submit two letters of recommendation. One letter from a non-relative but who knows you and can positively recommend your work

and study habits, and one letter from your School Counselor or a Teacher

  • Transcript or Report Card: Submit your current high school transcript and your most recent report card.

Benefits 

The Taste of Buffalo’s scholarship program will award up to five $1,000 scholarships every year to each deserving student. This Scholarship recognizes the mess of people and tries to resolve it. Applicants should be a segment of this endowment and try to make possible their ambition—this Scholarship will sake for the students.
