Getting funds to pay educational expenses is what everyone looks for. All the students studying in CCSA member schools have a chance to get some funds. The California Charter Schools Association is introducing its valuable Susan Steelman Bragato Scholarship. High school graduate students of CCSA member schools are eligible to apply and enjoy the tremendous benefits of this scholarship. This scholarship will provide all the needed support to the students to grow in the right direction.
This program aims to support the students who are willing to grow their education and benefit society with their academics. The scholarship is named in honor of Susan Steelman Bragato, the co-founder of the first charter school in California and the founder of the California network of educational charters (which was renamed the California Charter Schools Association in 2003). Susan was one of the first people to recognize the importance of building a strong network of support among charter school leaders statewide.
Charter schools are built on the belief that kids come first. They keep red tape and bureaucracy out of public education and give passionate teachers the freedom to do what they do best: teach. That means that charter schools are launching bright futures and sending more kids to college, especially in communities where high-quality schools are needed most. Their vision is building great public schools of joy and rigor that prepare all California students for success in college, career, community, and life.
