Start-up Designing Contest for High School and College Students

Globalshala understands the need for sustainability in every sphere of development and wants to contribute to cultivating a generation of eco-friendly-minded entrepreneurs. That is why it has designed an excellent program called “Start-up Designing Contest”. This start-up designing contest intends to encourage students to think like eco-friendly-minded entrepreneurs and develop a project plan to start a sustainable start-up using social innovation and environmental sustainability methodology. If you want to be an entrepreneur in future and have lots of wonderful ideas in your mind, then this contest is the right opportunity for you that will provide a platform where you can give your start-up plan a boost and take it forward. Only high school and college students are invited to apply.

The program has lots of other benefits besides cash prize, such as you can reach out to new people, gain new experience and learn something new from their experience and knowledge. You can enhance your writing skills, win a chance to do an internship at Globalshala, as well as your horizons on start-up culture. Themes of this year competition vary. To enter this contest, all you have to do is follow the guidelines and refer to the submission format and upload your presentation entry accordingly. Your work will be judged based on creativity, critical analysis and communication. So go ahead! Who May Be Eligible

All high school and college students are welcome to send their entry.

How to Apply

Just follow the guidelines and go to the submission format to upload your presentation entry accordingly. You can find the submission format on the official site of Globalshala. Your start-up plan will be judged in the following terms:

  • Creativity – The startup idea/solution should have elements of innovation, significance and resourcefulness.
  • Critical analysis – Critically analyze your idea/solution and list down short and crisp statements that bring out its effectiveness, as well as its possible shortcomings.
  • Communication – Effectively communicate your core design for the startup, which can be comprehensible for the market.

Benefits

The prize will be distributed as fellow:

  • 1st prize – USD 1000
  • 2nd prize – USD 750
  • 3rd prize – USD 500

Apart from this, candidates will get the chance to reach out to people and learning about various experiences. They will hone their writing skills. Additionally, winners will get a chance to win internship opportunities with GlobalShala and expand their horizons on start-up culture.
