Here we are presenting to you a scholarship program started by UNCF in partnership with Sprout Social. At Sprout Social, they are building programming that is made to endure. Sprout Social is utilized by organizations and associations like Chicago Bulls, Sony Electronics, Indiana University, Make-a-wish Foundation, Edelman, and Subaru who depend on Sprout to make more grounded relationships with their clients through web-based media. Sprout Social has cooperated with UNCF to set up this Sprout Social UNCF Scholarship Program. This grant is centred around giving legitimacy-based grants to school seniors who represent strong leadership capacities and exhibit interest in software engineering or programming. Grant beneficiaries will get the chance to apply and meet for a full-time internship at Sprout Social that will begin in the late spring of 2022.

The candidate must also be an African American school senior graduating in May 2022, going to any licensed four-year school, studying Computer Science or Software Engineering. Preference will be given to a school senior going to Howard University, North Carolina AT&T, or Georgia Tech, studying Computer Science or Software Engineering, who is keen on working in the Chicago region. The grant beneficiaries will get a grant for up to $11,000.00 for the 2021 – 2022 scholarly year.

Who is Eligible?

The entrants who best satisfy the above-mentioned eligibility criteria and the requirements to apply will be declared as the final scholarship recipients of the following grant. The selected scholarship beneficiaries will be granted the prize money of up to $11,000.
