Space Foundation 12th Annual International Student Art Contest

Space Foundation is very honored to announce the opening of its “12th Annual International Student Art Contest”. This year, in collaboration with Noosphere Venture Partners, Space Foundation has developed an amazing art contest that is calling student artists worldwide to take part. For the past eleven years, this art competition has been inspiring people around the world as well as has gained good popularity. This program allows all its participants to use their creative gifts and curiosity to explore the wonders of space and the fantastic possibilities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematic fields. Space Foundation 12th Annual International Student Art Contest is more than just a competition. It is a golden opportunity for the budding artists out there to showcase their artistic skills and put them to good use.

This art contest grants a chance for parents, teachers, and communities to ignite a love of STEM in young people through the lens of space. For this year, the theme of this program is “Living, Working and Playing on the Moon”. There will be up to eight categories in this program and in each category three winners will be selected for first, second, and third place. The amazing fact about this program is that there is no entry fee so you can apply for this program without spending even a penny. It is free of cost. Winning artwork will be featured and shared around the globe, consisting of Space Foundation Headquarters and Discovery Center, Space Foundation and contest websites, various social media platforms. Teachers, parents, and guardians age 18 or older can submit the artwork on behalf of the candidate.

Who is Eligible?

Student artists from around the world, ages 3 to 18 years, are encouraged to design and submit original, space-oriented artwork.

How to Apply?

First of all, contestants will have to create an artwork based on the theme which is “Living, Working and Playing on the Moon”. They can send their entry through the online portal of Space Foundation. There is no application fee for this program so you can submit your application without paying every penny.

Benefits

This program will be held under eight categories and there will be three winners chosen for three places first, second and third in each category. One young artist will receive the Space Foundation Achievement Award. Winning artwork will be featured and shared worldwide, including Space Foundation Headquarters and Discovery Center, Space Foundation and contest websites, various social media platforms.

Application Deadline

Applicants are welcome to submit their entry by January 19, 2022. Late application will be the subject of disqualification.
