The SILA Foundation is thrilled to introduce its Post Secondary College Scholarship. Application is recommended for U.S. students indulged in Business Management, Finance or Accounting, Marketing, Mathematics.
The award is structured to financially assist promising students on their journey to higher education. The beneficiaries will be able to pay for their various educational costs such as tuition, fees, books and everything else.
SILA Foundation purpose is to provide an educational forum for the public. Its activities may include educational materials, courses, public discussion groups, forums, lectures, personal career development, mentoring, job training and fairs.
Who May Eligible?
The candidates need to review the criteria below before applying:
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or better
- Must be enrolled in one of the following areas of study such as Business administration, Education, Finance or accounting, Information Technology, Insurance studies, Marketing, Mathematics
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of twelve credit hours at an accredited post-secondary school or
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of nine credit hours at an accredited post-secondary school AND employed part-time working at least 20-hours weekly or
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours at an accredited post-secondary school AND employed full-time working at least 32-hours weekly
How to Apply
Eligible students are asked to submit their required credentials electronically through an online application form.
Supporting Documents
- A copy of a scholastic transcript that proves the academic requirement
- Note: If you are a high school graduating senior, please provide a copy of your high school transcript. If selected, you MUST submit a copy of your upcoming fall enrollment schedule from your college/university before we can release the fund.
- A letter of reference
- Employment verification letter if applying for consideration as a full-time employee
Benefits
The SILA Foundation is rewarding five scholarships of amount $2500.00. The award is to be used at an accredited post-secondary college or university.
