SigEp Balanced Man Scholarship

Sigma Phi Epsilon is organizing a Balanced Man Scholarship that recognizes your achievements inside and outside the classroom. The program is intended towards the candidates who are Virginia Tech male students believing in the ideals of having a Sound Mind and Sound Body.

The aim of introducing the grant is to appreciate and support passionate students with leadership skills and a commitment to their health and well-being. The applicant who demonstrates balance and all-around excellence is one way to promote this critical idea will be rewarded with funds.

Sigma Phi Epsilon which is commonly known as SigEp is a social college fraternity for male college students within the United States.  It was founded on November 1, 1901, at Richmond College. It was based on three principles: Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love and is one of the largest social fraternities in the United States in terms of current undergraduate membership.

Who May Eligible?

To eligible for the Balanced Man Scholarship, the candidates must be following the below eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants must be Virginia Tech male student
  • Must believe in the ideals of having a Sound Mind and Sound Body
  • Must have shown academic excellence, leadership skills, and a commitment to their health and well-being.
  • There is no such requirement of joining the fraternity in order to be eligible to apply or win the scholarship

How to Apply

The committee is receiving the applications for the Balanced Man Scholarship electronically. Interested candidates are asked to submit their complete information through an online application form to get consideration or the program.

Benefits

Sigma Phi Epsilon is offering $5000 in Balanced Man Scholarships for the year 2020. The beneficiary of the program will surely get help to cover any of his educational expenses such as tuition, fees, books, and many others.
