Are you an artist and looking for a platform to showcase your talent through your artwork? Then you are at the right place. Sharing Wheels Community Bike Shop has got a fantastic opportunity for the artists who love to create and innovate things out of different kinds of stuff. The following bike art contest 2021 was sponsored by Sharing Wheels Community Bike Shop for the artists to use different bike parts and create beautiful and whimsical artwork. The winners of the contest will be awarded $50 gift certificates from local businesses, plus all participants who submit art will be entered in a drawing to win $200 credit at Sharing Wheels.
There is no restriction specified regards to eligibility, therefore anyone can enter this contest. Families can participate too. You can register yourself from September 1- September 30. Then later, you can have picked the bike parts and doodads galore from the Everett shop from October 2-10. The deadline for the submissions is November 14, 2021. Your submitted art pieces will be auctioned off in December to support the many free programs of Sharing Wheels Community Bike Shop.
Sharing Wheels Community Bike Shop founded in 2002, headquartered in Everett, WA started as a non-profit organization that has proved refurbished used bicycles to thousands of adults and children through its programs and bike sales. The tools and bike stand available at sharing wheels can be used by anyone during the open shop jours. People come in to fix their own bikes, getting guidance from well-experienced sharing wheels volunteers.

Who is Eligible?
There are no restrictions regards to eligibility. You don’t need to be a professional artist to participate. Also, families can participate, too.
How to Apply?
The interested individuals are required to use the excess bike parts to create beautiful and whimsical artwork and submit the following in person. Bike parts and doo-dads galore will be available for pickup at our Everett shop from Oct. 2-10. Use only bike stuff or add other reclaimed material. Additionally, you can document your process in a 1-minute video or photos (optional).
