Seattle University is all set to accept applications for its excellent funding programs effective for the academic session 2020-2021. These scholarships are renewable for up to four years and will be offered to students based on the information provided by candidates in their application, not financial need. First-year students and transfer students who have successfully taken admission in any undergraduate course at Seattle University will automatically be considered for merit-based scholarships.

These scholarships will be awarded to students at the time of admission and will be renewed if candidates maintain satisfactory academic progress. All recipients of the scholarships are required to meet all university requirements for regular admission to the fall, winter, or spring quarter. These funding programs hold the mission of alleviating the burden of financial expenses on students and their family and make higher education more affordable and attainable for them. Seattle University knows that taking admission and studying at a leading institution can impose financial challenges on students who come from a low-income family and to carve this situation; the university brings wonderful awards each year for students.

  • Participants must be freshmen of Seattle University;
  • Applications are available for both domestic and international students.

How to Apply

To apply any of Seattle University’s Scholarships, aspirants need to be admitted into an undergraduate course at this institution first. Once they have enrolled in any approved program, they can start the application process. Each scholarship has a different application process.


  • Sullivan Leadership Award – Tuition, room and board for each of four years of undergraduate study
  • Fostering Scholars – Educational fund
  • Sperry Goodman Scholarship – $5,000 per year
