SD Bankers Association Scholarships for College Students

After paying for college expenses, many students feel to be financially drained and have left with little or no money. Thereby, they find it challenging to cover their other educational expenses to come in their learning journey. In such a scenario, some students prefer to do jobs or take out loans while others have to limit their education. Doing so proves does not prove to be useful in the long run since being less educated not only makes our career options limited but causes more struggle in the job market. South Dakota Bankers Association knows how much important higher education is for students and values those willing to earn it. For this reason, the South Dakota Bankers Association has developed beneficial scholarship programs for the 2021-2022 school year.

This year, SD Bankers Association has come up with five wonderful scholarship schemes: Alan M. Graff Scholarship, David S. Birkeland Scholarship, Herman Lerdal Scholarship, Joyce Hazeltine Scholarship and Deb Gates Scholarship. These scholarships are different from each other in term of the award amount and will be granted directly to college students who are pursuing a career in banking or finance. These scholarships will prove amazing support for your banking and finance education, and take your financial concerns away, and give you a motivation push. You can enter this program by filling an application form and sending it to the South Dakota Bankers Association by the application deadline.

Founded in 1884, the South Dakota Bankers Association is a professional and trade association working for South Dakota’s financial services industry. It has been dedicated to enhancing the ability of members to be preeminent providers of financial services. South Dakota Bankers Association is the parent organization of South Dakota Bankers Insurance & Services through which SDBA members get access to numerous competitively priced products and services.

Who May Be Eligible

Applicants must be college students who are pursuing a career in banking or finance.
