The Screencraft has organized a comedy screenplay competition for all those people worldwide who love to write TV scripts or Film scripts. The competition is for people who are 18 or above. Scripts can be a romantic comedy, dark, slapstick, broad or dry, or any other comedy scriptwriting. The Best medicine is laughter, and this competition wants the concepts and talent hidden in people to bring out and celebrated. The competition is purely based on laughter and comedy creative writings. The program will also offer opportunities to the participants to showcase their talent and set their careers.
The winners for this competition will be chosen based on their written scripts, one grand prize winner will receive an award amount of $1,000, not only this but will also get to be personally introduced to top literary managers and accepted into the ScreenCraft Development Program, and an exclusive invitation to a Finalist only workshop to position themselves and their writing to the industry and other runner ups will also receive some honor and awards. This will motivate and encourage people to establish their careers in the Hollywood industry with known companies.
The Screencraft was launched in the year 2012 and is a for-hire script development consultancy with a focus on developing and celebrating commercially viable and genre-focused screenplays from emerging talent. Their mission is to foster the careers of emerging writers and filmmakers by inspiring and insight into the craft of screenwriting and the business of Hollywood.

Benefits
Participants who write best of their talent, skills, creativity will be selected based on reading and judging the scripts based on voice, concept, story, structure, characters, dialogues, and genre conversations. Among all the participant’s scripts, one grand prize winner will receive a cash amount of $1,000; with this, they will be able to get personally introduced to top literary managers, accepted into the ScreenCraft Development Program, and an exclusive invitation to a finalist only workshop to position themselves and their writing to the industry, as well as three runner ups prizes, will also be distributed as Feature winner and the Pilot winner who will receive a cash amount of $500 (for each), also accepted into ScreenCraft Development Program and an exclusive invitation to a finalist only workshop to position themselves and their writing to the industry and the 3rd one as finalist who will receive an exclusive invitation to a finalist only workshop to position themselves and their writing to the industry.
Add-on prize opportunity:
Participants who submit the competition and include this add-on at entry are only eligible for this prize. This ScreenCraft First Look Bootcamp add-on benefit is separate from the ScreenCraft Comedy Competition prizes and placements. The winner must be one writer/writing team will get selected for this prize by manager and producer Ari Lubet of 3 Arts Entertainment based on the participant’s outstanding concept from the ScreenCraft Comedy Competition for intensive development to get the project ready for the market over 12 months, including personalized meetings, development notes, and a business strategy to sell the project.
