USBC Chuck Hall Star of Tomorrow

A scholarship specifically for male athletes who are either High School seniors or at College, the United States Bowling Congress wishes to provide financial support to exceptionally talented young, Bowling athletes. Students who apply for this scholarship must be Non-Professional USBC  members, have at least attained the age of 20 by Aug 2021. An amount of $6,000 will be awarded to those applicants who are able to demonstrate their excellence in Bowling performance and have the chance to do even better in the future.

PBA Billy Welu Memorial Scholarship

A scholarship both for male and female students who have shown outstanding performance in Bowling, the Professional Bowlers Association Billy Welu Scholarship every year to such talents who have potential and the attitude to do better in the future. This scholarship will be awarded to eligible students who are currently enrolled in Colleges, and are involved in the sport of Bowling, and have taken part in tournaments where they have demonstrated their talents. Students who can depict both academic excellence by maintaining a GPA of at least 2.5/4.0, and are talented sportsperson. Winning students will be awarded $1,000 as a scholarship amount, that they can directly use in their academics.

Shocker Bowling Scholarship

The Shocker Bowling Scholarship offered by the Wichita State University is for athletes who have shown potential in Bowling, and are in need of a scholarship for financial support. Students must complete the application form for this scholarship before entering Wichita State, and play for the Bowling team. The deadline for submitting a Bowling Scholarship Application is May 1st, and the winners will be selected on the basis of their demonstration of academic excellence and Bowling performance.

Sports Unlimited Scholarship

Sports Unlimited Scholarship specially offered to students who prove to be talented athletes in any field of sports. The scholarship is provided to students to encourage them to pursue higher studies while at the same time continue with their athletic careers. An attractive amount of $1,000 will be awarded to winning applicants who meet all the desired criteria of the scholarship.

While applying, students must submit an essay of 500-1,000 words covering the topic mentioned on the website. Students applying must be a Graduating High School senior or a Freshman/Sophomore in College, and submit their completed application along with a Doc or PDF containing their essays by September 31st, 2021. This scholarship can support your career as a Bowler and help achieve your goals.

Tom E. Halley & Carl W. Parks Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship on our list is only for students residing at Pinellas County and will be awarded to students who are currently High School Seniors and have previously participated in Athletics, Community Services, and other Community Organizations. Your athletic career as a Bowler can gain benefit from this scholarship because the winning participants will be offered $1,000 as scholarship amount. There are no other criteria to apply for this scholarship except that applicants must possess a minimum GPA between 2.0 and 3.0. The most eligible students who are active in sports and community services will be given preference.

Berks County Scholastic Athletic Trainer’s Association Scholarship Fund

Restricted to the High School Seniors of Berks County, this scholarship provided by Berks County Community Foundation is a little different from others on our list because it paves an opportunity for students to become future Athletic Trainers.

The Berks County Scholastic Athletic Trainer’s Association chooses the most talented students with outstanding performance both in academics and athletics as their winning participants and offers them the required financial support to eventually get employed as Athletic Trainers. Lisa Moray Memorial Scholarship

Yet another Scholarship on our list that is restricted to female athletes who are currently High School seniors, the Lisa Moray Memorial Scholarship will be offered to a deserving student who has proven to participate in sports, community service, and mentorship of other athletes.

Please note that Graduating High School female athletes from Roy C. Ketcham High School are only eligible for this scholarship, and the applicants must be recommended by a School faculty member or a Coach, demonstrating how the recommended student meets the scholarship criteria. The applications must be submitted to the Community Foundation by April 1st, 2022.

Maynard And Ferne Brownell Family Scholarship

The last Scholarship on our list was established by the family of Maynard and Ferne Brownell to award High School, Graduating Seniors with academic excellence and active involvement in School and Community sports. This scholarship is especially for students Graduating from Beacon High School, John Jay High School, and Roy C. Ketcham High School, and the amount they shall win will be directly applicable to the full-time two/four-year program they opt for, in Universities and Colleges.

Students can continue receiving this scholarship for their entire program, but they need to submit recent Transcripts/ Tuition bills, B- or equivalent GPA, and proof of their attendance. If you wish to apply for this scholarship, then you must ability to succeed in College and in sports, clearly demonstrate financial needs, provide an Essay of 500 words describing your goals, two Letters of Recommendation from Teachers/guidance Counselor, Clergy or persons other than family members. Students must also submit their completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) during the online application.
