When most people think about scholarships, they think of those that are given to graduating high school seniors or college freshmen. However, there are several grants available for younger students. These services are for middle school and high school students, aged 13 to 17, who have set their eyes on college and are starting to save for it. When it comes to college preparations, it’s never too early to start searching for financing options. These scholarships enable younger students to begin saving for their education long before they leave for college.

Unfortunately, this makes finding information about scholarships available to students under the age of 13 difficult for parents of younger students. Early outreach campaigns enable families to begin looking for scholarships and preparing for education as soon as possible, but they are unable to assist them in finding scholarships.

The Toshiba ExploraVision Awards are a series for teams of two to four students in grades K-12 from the United States and Canada. The competition’s aim is to inspire students to see a potential technology vision. The groups investigate a technology or product and forecast how it will evolve in the future.
