Candidates who will enroll at SBCC for the fall or spring semester immediately after their high school graduation, GED completion, or the equivalent are eligible to apply for this program. This is a first come first serve basis program so don’t wait to apply and make your education free of financial worries.
This program aims to support the students the deserving students in completing their education without worrying about their tuition or fees. This program supports students to achieve all their career goals and help them to do better in their academic years. It helps deserving candidates to grow their professional lives in the right direction. The foundation understands that higher education comes with a higher financial burden which is not possible for everyone and up to ensure that every child who is struggling between finances and higher education gets enough of support to complete their academics.
The SBCC Foundation has provided Santa Barbara City College with private philanthropic support since 1976, serving as the vehicle through which individuals and organizations may invest in the college and its students. As an independent 501c3 nonprofit organization and partner to SBCC, the SBCC Foundation provides more than $5 million annually for student success programs, scholarships, book Grant’s, emergency funds, and other critical needs of the college.

Who May Be Eligible?

- Candidates who are a recent local high school graduate who enrolls at SBCC for the fall or spring semester immediately after their high school graduation, GED completion or the equivalent.
How to Apply
Applicants first need to fill the FAFSA or California College promise grant application or California Dream Act Application. Applicants should first sign up to apply for these funds; if you have not created an SBCC Pipeline account, then you can create it and then Sign Up to access the form. All the applicants should make sure they provide enough details and information in the application to be considered for the program. Incomplete or invalid data will not be considered for the program.

Selected applicants will get the chance to attend SBCC full time free of charge for up to two years. It covers tuition, and all required fees, books, and supplies. It supports the students to complete their education in the college free of any financial stress. It motivates students to grow their academic records with dedication and hard work.
