The Endangered Species Coalition (ESC) has announced Art contest 2022 for students to express wildlife and their importance creatively for Saving Endangered Species. The species living in the U.S. who are protected or recovered by Endangered Species Act should consider while describing the beautiful wildlife. Students from kindergarten to 12th, also those students who are homeschooled and out of school time programs, can take part in this contest. This contest will help in making awareness about the Wildlife species.
The best Artwork will be considered for prizes. Initially, 40 semifinalists will be chosen, out of which six will be the finalists. The prizes range from $50-$200 for different finalists such as grand winners, first prizes, grand level winners, semi-finalists. Also, the educator who encouraged students will be awarded $200. The contest will introduce students to a. and variety of wildlife species that live in the country, and their artwork will describe their existence and importance.
ESC was founded in 2001 and is a national network of hundreds of conservation, scientific, education, religious, sporting, outdoor recreation, business, and community organizations working together for disappearing wildlife species to save and protect them. Their mission is to protect and restore habitats and to guide these fragile populations for recovering the nation’s at-risk’s species by stopping human-caused extinction.

How to Apply?
The interested participants who wish to take part in the contest should fill the application form and submit their artwork by expressing wildlife species and their importance. All applications will be submitted electronically. Students should recheck their application and artwork before submission to make sure it is entered incorrect grade category. The applications will be open for submission soon and will be notified via email and displayed on its official website.
Some important points to be noted:
- Students’ artwork should be original and not computer-generated images.
- The artwork should be colorful and use drawing, painting apparatus. Black pen and light pencil will not be accepted.
- No written words on artwork such as name, signature, etc.
- Use the highest quality resolution while submitting (3000pixels).
- All artworks will become the property of ESC after submission, which they can use for editorial, educational, promotional print, or any other educational or social posts.
Benefits
Students who will participate in this contest will be judged on their artwork; judging will take place in two parts; preliminary 40 semifinalists will be chosen, among which six will be finalized by art professionals, artists, and art educators across the U.S. The six finalists will be in the grand prize, first place, and four grade-level winners. These winners will be awarded prizes ranging from $50 to $200 according to their place of rank. This will also convey awareness in people through an artwork manner. Best artworks will be used for educational and social posts, art-related posts, and so on.
Application Deadline
The eligible and fascinated participants should submit their artwork before March 01, 2022. Latecomers will not be judged. So students who want to be a part of this contest should submit their application as soon as the submission starts.
