Established in 2018 by Daughters of British Empire, The Sarah Josephine Langstaff Memorial Scholarship exists to support the women of British Commonwealth heritage in their educational endeavors. The scholarship has started with the ultimate goal of providing all kinds of support to women in acquiring education. It helps women dealing with the struggles that they have to face when they step out of their homes to study. We all know how our society works and how difficult it has always been for women to come out for their small circle and explore the world. They always have been judged by our society and discouraged by their hurtful and orthodox opinions and minds.
