A scholarship is a right way to get the financial support you need to gain your academic goals. Presbyterian Church has announced that the applications for Samuel Robinson Award are now open. This scholarships program is for those members who are juniors or seniors in college and attending a Presbyterian related college or university. The Samuel Robinson Award is a competitive essay based program that seeks to stimulate interest in the Westminster Shorter Catechism by challenging Presbyterian Church all the participants.
Contestants will have to write a 2,000-word essay on an assigned topic related to the catechism to further exhibit the understanding of the Westminster Shorter Catechism. A panel of chaplains will evaluate the essay. At the end of the program, more than one winner will be selected. The award amount will be varied based on the score. Two candidates with the highest score will be granted $7,500 in scholarship. On the other hand, the lowest award for an application with an essay will be $2,000. Interested candidates can submit their entry online through the portal of Presbyterian Church.
