How to Apply

To apply for the Scholarships, students must have an online Samford account. If students have started their Samford/Common app application, they can log in with the same details to apply for scholarships. If the student has not started the admission application process, they may log in as a new user. In addition to this, students must also file the FAFSA with the school code. The requirements for the scholarships may be different from one scholarship to the other.

There are various scholarships that the university offers, out of which the following are solely campus-based scholarships. The benefits of the scholarships are as follows:

  • Davis Scholarship: Award of $2,000. An additional application is required to avail of this scholarship
  • Marion Scholarship: Average award amount of $11,000
  • Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship: Educational Fund
  • Sherman Oak Scholarship: Award of $1,000

Application Deadline

The application deadline for early applicants is December 1, 2020. Regular applicants may submit their applications on or before February 15, 2021. It is recommended that students apply early to avail the maximum benefits. Late and incomplete submissions shall be disqualified.
