Salem College is now sponsoring a wonderful Merit Scholarship programme to support high-performing students, who might not have the financial resources to pay for their study. This scholarship package is designed to help incoming first-year students.
Salem College’s Merit Scholarship is divided into two parts: Salem College Promise Scholarship and Academic Scholarship. Both scholarships are for those students who are new to Salem College and will be awarded to them based on merit.
Salem College is situated in the Southern United States as the oldest educational institution for girls and women. The institution was formed with the idea of creating equal educational opportunities for both women and men. At the college, students can pick from a variety of highly ranked undergraduate and graduate degree programs available in various fields of study. Who May Be Eligible?
All the applicants should take a look at the following requirements:
Salem College Promise Scholarship:
- Candidates must be North Carolina residents
- Applicants must be incoming first-year students
- Pell-eligible, with an Estimated Family Contribution of $0,-$5,000 (per FAFSA).
Academic Scholarship
- Applicants must be a citizen of the United States
- Entrants should be freshmen students
- Students must hold a GPA of 3.25 or higher.
 How to Apply
There is no need to make a separate application for this funding opportunity. All the students who are interested in taking part in this programme will automatically be considered upon applying for admission in an undergraduate degree programme at Salem College.
Benefits
All the participants of the Salem College Promise Scholarship will win free tuition and fees in the form of awards. On the other hand, the winners of the Academic Scholarship will be eligible to receive a half-tuition fee. Both scholarships will make students’ learning-journey easier at Salem College.
