- Fellows should reside in Rockland County and must be of African American descent to be considered.
How to Apply
All the eligible students should apply for the scholarship by downloading the application form. Go through the list of requirements you need to submit while submitting the application and collect them. Fellows should complete the application well to be considered; no late applications will be accepted. l contents of the application packet should be uploaded and attached to an email sent to RNSFScholarship@gmail.com. And the application and materials should be mailed to P.O. Box 143, Nanuet, NY. 10954 before the deadline.
Supporting Documents
- FAFSA, 250 words essay describing your future plans, Activities Profile or extra-curricular resume, must be submitted.
- Submit the Student Aid Report (SAR), Proof of citizenship or permanent residency (the U.S. Passport, birth certificate or Permeant resident card), Current photo/headshot is necessary.
- Official Transcript of grades 9 – 12
- Counsellor Confidential Form
- Letter of Recommendation.
Benefits
Selected students will receive the amount enough to pay the candidates’ educational needs like tuition, books, and other necessary costs. The amount will be paid directly to the college or university where the awardee is attending. This scholarship encourages students to achieve their academic goals and helps them in paying their educational costs.
Application Deadline
Applications should be submitted before February 26, 2021. No incomplete or invalid submission done will be entertained by the Foundation.
