University of Nevada is thrilled to introduce its Robert E Dickenson Scholarship Program for the year 2020. The incoming or continuing master’s and doctoral students will be applicable to attain the enormous awards.
The purpose of the program is to provide some sufficient amount of financial aid that the applicant might require for their higher education. The grant will primarily assist those scholars who are talented.

Who May Be Eligible?
Candidate needs to meet up with the below criteria to be applicable for the program:
- Applicant must be a US citizen
- Must be a graduate student
- Must show financial need – will require FAFSA
- Must have a minimum 3.0 UNR GPA, if a continuing student
- Must have a minimum of nine credits per semester (6 credits if teaching)
- Must make satisfactory academic progress
- The graduate degree programs include the following areas of studies such as Agricultural Science, Environmental science, forestry management & ecology, Rangeland ecology & management, Hydrogeology, geo-engineering
- New master’s students must have 2.75 UGRD GPA, 3.0 GRAD GPA if the student has any graduate coursework
How to Apply
Students applying for the program must submit their application with the required details through an online application form to get consideration for the award.
Supporting Documents
- Must fill a statement of purpose (800 words or less) from the graduate program director
- The statement of purpose must include an explanation of how the student’s current or future work fosters productive and economical livestock or land.
Benefits
The Robert E Dickenson scholarship funds a minimum of $3,000 per student per year to a maximum of $10,000 per student per year depending on the number, quality and financial need of the applicants.
