This $1000 scholarship will be awarded to the candidate who can best discuss whether or not those who have been arrested have a greater right to privacy versus the public’s right to know and view all of the details surrounding their arrest.

- Students at a duly accredited institution, including junior college, community college, undergraduate program, or graduate program anywhere in the United States
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA with a solid academic standing
- High school graduates or GED holders about to start their college career

Eligible candidates can submit their applications by providing the following: Pertinent contact information, updated resume, and current status as a student. Also, a 750-1,000 word original essay describing any solutions to the problems identified in the essay and an up-to-date transcript from the applicant’s current institution.
