The cost of an education in the aviation industry is known to be expensive. It definitely comes at a cost of huge student loans and debt. And that is why the Richard L. Taylor Flight Training Scholarship was created and added to the National Air Transportation Foundation’s (NATF) scholarship program. This scholarship was created keeping in mind the obstacles students face when trying to enter the aviation industry. So, in order to help students ease some of the financial burdens they face while pursuing a career in aviation, the Richard L. Taylor Flight Training Scholarship was created.
The scholarship is named after Richard L. Taylor, an Associate Professor and a member of the Aviation Department at the Ohio State University for the past 22 years. Professor Taylor is also an award-winning author of 14 aviation books. It is Professor Taylor’s vision and drives that have helped expand flight education and training at Ohio State. His leadership has created numerous opportunities for aviation students and hopes to do so with the Richard L. Taylor Flight Training Scholarship as well.
