The AKC Museum of the Dog is organizing the “Salute to Search & Rescue Dogs Art Contest”. The contest is managed with an idea to honor the search and rescue dogs that participated in the rescue and recovery effort in the aftermath of the attacks. To participate, you have to submit a painting depicting the heroism of the search and rescue dogs. There are no eligibility criteria. Everyone is invited to participate. The contest is open from June 16, 2021, to August 16, 2021. All the entries are necessary to be submitted in the time frame.
This is a fantastic chance to show your love and respect towards the rescue dogs. The opportunity can be grabbed to showcase your painting to the world. The winning candidate will get a cash prize, and their art will be available for sale at the museum gift shop. The top five skills will be displayed on the museum’s third-floor walls as a part of the new exhibit, 9/11 Remembered: Search and Rescue Dogs, opening in September.
